Project Supervisor

Fantastic opportunity to supervise a brand new team under the Thames Water Contract! This role would be based out of the southern region and will require you to work away from home, depending on the location of the project. As this is a project supervisor role, we will require you to be flexible regarding the hours. Hotels are provided by the company and transport is discussed.

Salary: £50,000 per annum

Hours:

Monday - Friday, 6am - 6pm

Location:

Chalgrove, Chertsey region

Holidays: 21 days plus bank holidays

Overtime paid at 1.25x

• Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing any concerns or requests promptly and professionally.
• Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the standards, policies and procedures of Lanes Group and its customers.
• Lead and control operators engaged in all activities concerned with the works.
• Command respect of the workforce and develop excellent working relationships with all other department personnel as well as client management.
• Able to give instructions in an efficient and effective way to the workforce and responsible for the daily management of the teams.
• Ensure that work crews are properly supplied with tools, equipment, and materials. Prevent wastage and misuse of equipment, materials, and tools. Supervise work crews to best utilise manpower and materials, exercise discipline at the work site to prevent absenteeism, unsafe work practices and idleness.
• Be familiar with all HS&E and Quality procedures, regulations and strictly enforce them with the workforce under their responsibility.
• Responsible for the day to day wellbeing of the teams under your control, identify, formulate, and implement training programs for the workforce.
• Comply with the highest level of safety during all stages of work to avoid any type of incidents and or accidents.
• Assist in the project works alongside the operators.
