QA & Automation Test Engineer

Overview

IT Global Consulting Limited - Seeking an experienced and highly motivated ‘QA & Automation Test Engineer’ who is responsible for the Testing, maintenance, and ongoing support for the platform and acting as the internal focal point for an enterprise platform. The person should be self‑motivated and ambitious, with an ongoing desire to maintain their knowledge level at the forefront of the QA & Automation testing process and technologies.

• Coordinate with the software design team to discuss the different verification protocols
• Identify weaknesses and target areas of a software application
• Develop ideas for automated software test procedures
• Report and identify problem areas
• Design and install software databases
• Identify quality issues and create test reports

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field
• Previous work experience as an automation test engineer
• Advanced programming skills in automation systems and databases
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Java and VBScript
• Understanding of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Project management skills (preferred)
