Male Waking Night Support Worker
Location: Blackfield, Southampton
Pay rate: £13.42 per hour (including night enhancement)
Typical
Shifts:
9.30pm – 7.30am, including weekends on a rota.
Schedule: Week 1:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday
Week 2:
Monday, Thursday, Friday

We’re on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands‑on Male Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. As a support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!
ResponsibilitiesYou’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. You may be out with the people we support in local bars and pubs, or unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema.
This role helps individuals grow in confidence and independence, enabling them to meet their goals, whether that be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.
Qualifications & ExperienceWe’re looking for Support Workers with the following:
- Full UK driving licence
- Resilience, flexibility and a composed approach
- Experience following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice
- Experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behavioural distress, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories and trauma survivors
Applicants will undergo satisfactory DBS checks and references.
