We now have an exciting opportunity for a Service Manager to cover our services across Abbots Langley, Hertfordshire area. The suitable candidates will ensure that our services reach the highest possible standards in terms of quality and cost effectiveness - in this way, you will help us to meet the needs of the people we support and encourage real involvement and influence in what we do. You will need to be computer literate and have experience managing in care. Self‑motivation, determination, confidence, passion for positive change and an ability to make difficult decisions under pressure are also key to this role.

You will need to be flexible with the days you are able to work, as you may need to work an early, late or some weekend work depending on the service needs, also to be part of the manager on call system, and be able to cover for other service managers in the area when on leave.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality, Leadership and Relationships
  • Work with the people living in the service and the team to ensure high‑quality person‑centred support
  • Monitor the quality of the service, ensuring it is fully compliant
  • Liaise with the families and other stakeholders of the people living in the service
  • All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references
