Your RoleAs an Account Analyst, you'll play a vital part in our Financial Control team, reporting directly to the G&C and Reporting Manager. You will support our business unit across various accounting functions, ensuring precision, strong governance, and smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver timely and accurate period‑end close through effective collaboration with the Operations team.
- Manage accruals and cut‑off processes to ensure accurate reporting.
- Conduct stock reconciliations and proactively manage GRIR.
- Oversee standards and PPV accounting, as well as balance sheet reconciliations.
- Handle fixed asset management and working capital reporting.
- Manage aged debt and cashflow forecasting.
- Maintain master data and support with ad hoc reporting and projects as required.
- Degree‑level educated.
- AAT or part‑qualified status.
- Skilled at a basic to intermediate level in Excel & Power BI.
- Possessing foundational accounting knowledge, particularly in double entry and finance processes.
- Strong in numerical and analytical ability.
- Methodical, detail‑oriented, and an effective problem solver.
- Able to manage time well and prioritise effectively.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment, especially around key year‑end deadlines.
- A 37.5‑hour workweek, with flexibility to consider 80% full‑time equivalent for the right candidate.
- Full‑time hours Monday :
Friday. - A hybrid working model with 2 days in the office, moving to 3 later this year.
