Job Title: CAD Technician

Salary: £30 – £35 per hour (dependent on experience)

Location: Slough

Type: Contract | Outside IR35 | Full-time | On-site / hybrid (depending on project needs)

Our client is seeking an experienced CAD Technician to support ongoing engineering projects based in Slough. This is a hands‑on contract role suited to someone confident producing and managing CAD drawings within a professional consultancy environment. You’ll be working alongside established technical teams, contributing to live projects from day one.

• Produce and modify CAD drawings for live engineering projects
• Ensure all drawings comply with internal CAD standards
• Support electronic project administration and document control
• Issue drawings and technical documentation via Project Wise
• Collaborate with engineers and technical teams to meet project deadlines

• Strong CAD experience using AutoCAD and/or Micro Station
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Confident IT skills with the ability to adapt to new systems quickly
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider technical team
• Clear communication skills
  
  Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is advantageous
