Mental Health Assistant / Teaching Assistant - Slough
Aspiring Educational Psychologist Role
Ideal for Psychology, Counselling, or Criminology Graduates | Immediate Start
RoleAre you passionate about supporting children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? Looking to gain hands-on experience alongside trained therapists, counsellors, and psychologists?
Responsibilities- Provide academic, emotional, and behavioral support to students aged 8 to 18 with complex needs.
- Work full-time Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, with a therapeutic approach to learning.
- Receive training directly from professionals on-site and support therapeutic activities.
- Work alongside therapists and psychologists on-site
- Shadow professional therapy sessions and gain invaluable experience
- Develop skills in SEN and mental health support - perfect for aspiring educational psychologists, SEN teachers, or therapeutic support workers
- Competitive daily rate of £85-£100
- Enthusiastic, caring, and resilient individuals ready to support children with complex SEMH needs
- Graduates in Psychology, Counselling, Criminology, or a related field (preferred but not essential)
