Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a welcoming and well-established four-form entry primary school in Slough to recruit a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning within Key Stage 1. The Role

As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that inspire pupils and support them in achieving their full potential. You will play a key role in creating a stimulating classroom environment where children feel confident, motivated, and supported in their learning.

Your responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 National Curriculum

Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the needs of all learners

Assessing and tracking pupil progress to ensure every child is supported to succeed

Differentiating learning to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities and learning styles

Working collaboratively with year group colleagues to plan lessons and share resources

Communicating effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues to support pupil development

Contributing to the wider life of the school, including school events and enrichment activities

Supporting the school’s ethos of respect, inclusion, and high expectations for all pupils

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (although strong Early Career Teachers are encouraged to apply)

A creative and engaging approach to teaching and learning

Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils

A commitment to inclusive education and supporting pupils with a range of needs

The ability to work collaboratively as part of a year group team

High expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour
