About the School

We are a caring, inclusive and vibrant special school for children and young people aged 2-19, supporting a wide spectrum of needs including moderate to severe learning difficulties, autism and complex additional needs.
Our purpose-built setting includes specialist facilities such as a nursery base, post-16 provision, soft-play area, hydrotherapy pool, multi-sensory room, IT and music suites, and a large sports hall - enabling us to deliver a rich, stimulating and personalised curriculum.

The Role

We are seeking an inspiring, committed and flexible Fully Qualified Teacher to join our team from January.
In this role, you will:

Plan, deliver and adapt high-quality lessons tailored to pupils' individual learning needs.
Create a nurturing, structured and inclusive classroom environment.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists and other professionals to support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
Use a range of strategies to promote communication, independence and positive behaviour.
Support the safeguarding and well-being of all pupils.

Candidate Profile

Hold QTS/QTLS and have a strong commitment to SEND education.

Can differentiate learning effectively for pupils with diverse and complex needs.
Have strong communication and teamwork skills.

Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

SEND experience is highly desirable but not essential - comprehensive training and support will be provided.
