Job Overview
An "Outstanding" Primary School in Slough is looking to recruit a Sports Graduate - Teaching Assistant for an ASAP start. This is a full‑time, long‑term post in a supportive, forward‑thinking environment.
Key duties include creating new ideas, delivering PE sessions, promoting healthy living, and supporting pupils across the school.
Responsibilities- Working alongside the PE Lead
- Creating new ideas around the sports curriculum
- Delivering PE sessions
- Promoting healthy eating & living to both pupils and staff
- Allowing each child to complete the daily mile
- Supporting students as a TA across the school
- Delivering academic interventions to drive student progress
- Working with KS3 & KS4 pupils
- Outgoing, forward‑thinking and creative personality
- Willing to learn and take on multiple roles
- Previous sports or coaching experience desirable
- Forward‑thinking and creative primary school
- Large primary school with plenty of CPD opportunities
- Additional training provided throughout
- All staff support one another throughout
- Located in Slough
September 2024 start – long‑term & full‑time. Salary: £118 per day.
