SEMH Teaching Assistant

Specialist Primary SEMH School, Slough

Hours:

Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm
Pay:
From £89 per day (PAYE)

Contract:

Term-time only / Ongoing

• Supporting pupils with SEMH needs throughout the school day
• Assisting with behaviour regulation and emotional support
• Using positive behaviour management strategies consistently
• Supporting learning both inside and outside the classroom
• Working closely with teachers and support staff to maintain a calm, structured environment
• Being physically active and on your feet for much of the day

• Experience working with children with SEMH and challenging behaviour
• Strong behaviour management skills
• A calm, patient and nurturing approach
• Ability to remain resilient in challenging situations
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, active setting
• Previous school-based experience is highly desirable
