Responsibilities- Support the management of customer accounts and invoices
- Maintain clear, accurate notes so information is always up to date
- Help resolve invoice queries and payment questions
- Speak with customers in a professional, friendly manner
- Escalate issues when needed, with guidance from senior colleagues
- Produce account updates and credit notes when requested
- Collaborate with Sales Order Processing to keep customer details accurate
- Contribute to team targets and service standards
- Participate in team projects and improvement initiatives
- Recently completed education or entering a first professional office‑based role
- Customer‑facing experience (part‑time work, retail, hospitality, call centre, volunteering, etc.)
- Enjoy learning new things and picking up information quickly
- Resilience and perseverance when tackling unfamiliar tasks
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Clear, respectful communication with customers and colleagues
- Team‑player mindset and support for shared goals
- Drive to build skills and grow over time, not just “do a job”
- Previous Credit Control or finance experience is not required
- A degree is welcome but not essential
