Endoscopy Receptionist – Fixed Term Contract (12 Months)
Job OverviewJoin the Endoscopy teams at Wexham Park Hospital (main base) and Heatherwood Hospital as an Endoscopy Receptionist on a 12‑month fixed term contract. You will play a vital role supporting the administrative and reception functions of these busy departments, acting as the key point of contact for patients, visitors and clinical staff.

- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Professional and compassionate approach when dealing with patients
Ensure all admin and clerical duties for patients coming into the Endoscopy units, providing a high standard of reception support across all Trust sites. Assist with implementation and ongoing monitoring of appointments systems, help meet Trust targets and offer very high customer service skills for patients and internal and external staff.
Qualifications- High standard of English communication skills (verbal and written) with GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
- Experience of clerical duties
- High standard of IT literacy/experience in computer use
- Previous experience of working within a hospital setting (desirable)
- Previous front‑facing customer service experience (desirable)
- Work flexible hours as the service requires
- Ability to work unsupervised and prioritise workloads under guidance of line manager or shift in charge
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to support clinical staff with patient and carer needs (non‑clinical)
- Ability to work within a busy environment
