Position Summary Information
Position Summary
The main responsibilities of the Clinical Services Specialist include securing and overseeing Field Placements, using our online field experience placement tracking system, collecting assessment data from faculty, clearances from students, and working with clerical staff to verify that all collected clearances are clear before allowing students to enter the schools. This position also requires ensuring all students meet GPA and other criteria for admission to each field experience.
In addition, this position requires working with faculty to determine the requirements and expectations of students and cooperating teachers for each experience, and then communicating these things to each constituent. This position also requires securing Affiliation Agreements. The Dean may assign additional duties on an as needed basis as they relate to Educator Preparation Office responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience working with K–12 school administrators or administrators in a related field.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-step processes and ensure timely completion of projects with strict deadlines.
Experience working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Strong organizational and communication skills, including effective interpersonal communication in small groups and the ability to present to larger audiences.
Demonstrated reliability and dependability.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn and effectively use software applications for tracking student qualifications and placement sites.
Successful completion of an on-campus interview and criminal background check.
Experience working with diverse populations in educational settings.
