Position SummaryTeach a section of Anatomy & Physiology BIOL 209 or Anatomy and Physiology BIOL 309 that includes three laboratory sections in Fall 2026 and Spring 2027. The role is a temporary full‑time instructor position at Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania.
Work ScheduleFall and Spring schedules have yet to be determined. Lectures typically occur three times a week for 50 minutes or two times a week for 75 minutes, with one 2.5‑hour laboratory session each week. The instructor will also hold 5 office hours over three days.
Minimum Qualifications- Master of Science in biology or closely related field (e.g., medical technology, physical therapy, physician assistant studies)
- Commitment to the education of diverse populations
- Successful performance in an interview and teaching demonstration
- Past experience teaching at the university level, specifically Anatomy & Physiology
- Graduate and undergraduate transcripts (official or unofficial)
- Three professional references
- Recommended candidates will be required to complete a criminal background check, including Act 34, Act 151 (Child Abuse), and Federal Criminal (FBI) clearance prior to appointment
