Full-Time | Night Shift | Emergency Department

Join our Emergency Department team - we're seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, rapid-response care to patients with urgent and emergent medical needs. As an ED RN, you will play a critical role in stabilizing patients, performing rapid assessments, administering medications, and coordinating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

The Emergency Department RN delivers safe, effective, and timely nursing care to patients presenting with a wide range of conditions, from minor injuries to life-threatening emergencies. This role requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and the skills necessary to manage high-acuity and rapidly changing situations. Night shift team members play a vital role in maintaining around-the-clock emergency care coverage.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN or BSN)
• Current Louisiana RN license or eligibility to obtain prior to start
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within designated timeframe
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required or must be obtained within designated timeframe
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting
