Position Summary
We are seeking a licensed PRN Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality, patient-centered care on an as-needed basis. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate and treat patients to help them develop, recover, or maintain the skills necessary for daily living, work, and meaningful activities.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients' functional abilities related to activities of daily living (ADLs), instrumental ADLs, cognition, sensation, and motor skills
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and patient goals
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve independence, safety, and quality of life
- Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, equipment use, and home safety
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
- Document evaluations, treatments, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and timely
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory, ethical, and organizational standards
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (OTR/L)
- Current state Occupational Therapist license in good standing
- CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain)
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced or variable environment
- Prior experience in a relevant clinical setting (e.g., inpatient rehab, outpatient, SNF, home health, pediatrics)
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Flexible availability, including weekdays, weekends, or holidays as needed
Employment Type

- Hours vary based on patient census and staffing needs
- Ability to assist with patient transfers, positioning, and mobility
- Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and use of hands required
- Clinical environment may include hospital, outpatient clinic, rehabilitation facility, skilled nursing facility, or patient homes (depending on role)
