To provide assistance and support to farms by liaising with Farm Managers to collect and deliver blood, boot swab and composite faeces samples for delivery to the Company Laboratory and postmortem samples to the Company Vets. In addition, coordinate and collect water samples again for delivery into Anwick laboratory and liaise with Oakside Company Stores to deliver supplies to the farms along with vaccines, and medication from the vets.

Successful applicant will hold a Full Clean Driving License as they will be issued with a company van to facilitate their purpose.

• To have an understanding of poultry in MP.
• Contribute to that department/ add value by developing time management and liaison skills in this area in line with MP competency and whilst operating safe driving practices in line with the Highway Code.
• To work in a manner that actively seeks to reduce any negative environmental impact in relation to the processes and procedures operating within their area and across the wider business e.g. reduction of waste, recycling etc
• To provide support as part of the wider “Breeder Team” or on an individual basis in the following roles:
  Taking of bloods, boot sampling and collecting of composite faeces should assistance to the Farm Manager be required. Hygienic water sampling and delivery methodology. Delivering consumables to farms.
• Good communication skills to ensure timely collection and delivery.
• Safe loading of all goods and transportation skills.
• To ensure that all Biosecurity procedures are adhered to.
• To report any problems with regard to the stock e.g. possible disease trouble to the farm management.
• To report to the farm management any problems that may compromise Health and Safety resulting in a possible danger to themselves or others. Members should follow all COSHH and Risk Assessment documentation provided and have read the Company Health & Safety policy.
• To ensure that the company property (e.g. changing rooms, canteen) and the company vehicle is kept clean and tidy after use.
• To understand and fully comply with any and all Covid-19 guidance and regulation.
• To observe and follow the no smoking policy.
• To carry out any other duties that are required.
• To have no other involvement outside of Moy Park with other bird species including domestic poultry and cage birds.
