Pharmacist Retail - Per Diem

Hourly Pay Range:

$58.00 - $89.90 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

  Rotating shifts and Weekends (M-F 8am - 7:30pm, Sat 8:30am-3:30pm, Sun 8:30am - 3:30pm)

• Required Travel:
  Yes, Evanston, Glenbrook, Highland Park, Swedish, Northwest Community Hospital, Edward and Elmhurst Hospital

• License: Current Illinois Registered Pharmacist

• Education: BLS or Pharm
  
  D (preferred) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy. Pharmacy Practice Residency or equivalent experience preferred

• Certification: N/A

• Experience: At least one year experience as a registered pharmacist; or previous hospital experience- limited time away from institutional practice

• Skills: Ability to prioritize orders, perform multiple tasks and work in a team environment

• Dispense medication in response to a physician's order

• Provide clinical pharmacy services including drug information, preparing doses and checking work done by a technician prior to dispensing

• Prepare, compound and dispense medication consistent with department policy, and rules and regulations promulgated by the Board of Pharmacy, Department of Public Health, and JCAHO
