Rotating shifts and Weekends (M-F 8am - 730pm, Sat 830am-330pm, Sun 830am - 330pm) - Required Travel:
Yes, Evanston, Glenbrook, Highland Park, Swedish, Northwest Community Hospital, Edward and Elmhurst Hospital
- License: Current Illinois Registered Pharmacist
- Education: BLS or Pharm
D (preferred) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy. Pharmacy Practice Residency or equivalent experience preferred - Certification: N/A
- Experience: At least one year experience as a registered pharmacist; or previous hospital experience- limited time away from institutional practice
- Skills: Ability to prioritize orders, perform multiple tasks and work in a team environment
- Dispense medication in response to a physician's order
- Provide clinical pharmacy services including drug information, preparing doses and checking work done by a technician prior to dispensing
- Prepare, compound and dispense medication consistent with department policy, and rules and regulations promulgated by the Board of Pharmacy, Department of Public Health, and JCAHO
