Position Highlights:

Sterile Processing Manager - Location:
Skokie, IL - Full Time/Part Time: 40 hours a week
- Hours:
Monday-Friday, Days, 24-hour coverage as needed - Required Travel:
May be asked to assist other locations-as needed
- Education:
Bachelor degree, 3 years SPD experience or 3 years OR experience; or Associate degree with 5 years SPD or OR experience; or High School Diploma or GED with 7 years experience with 2 of the 7 years as SPD or OR Supervisor. - Certification:
Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) or Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA). Leadership Certification thru CBSPD must be obtained within 1 year of hire. - Experience:
5 years SPD/OR experience and familiarity with surgical instrumentation. Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience preferred.
- Promote effective team relations within the unit and across other departments in addition to fostering an environment that promotes strong decision making and problem solving by staff.
- Develop strong relationships with other departments and senior leaders to promote staff collaboration, efficiencies and results.
- Insures quality control and efficient production of processed products in line with Endeavor Health policies and procedures.
- Implement process improvements based on data/information received via reports & procedural areas.
