Goodwill Talent Bridge is partnering with an innovative organization to hire an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist focused on workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and sustainability.

This role plays a key part in developing and leading EHS programs that protect employees, support operations, and promote a strong safety culture.

As an EHS Specialist, you will help shape and maintain programs that ensure compliance, reduce risk, and support continuous improvement across the site. What You’ll Do
  • Oversee daily Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) activities at the site
  • Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
  • Manage contractor safety programs and site access protocols
  • Oversee waste management and hazardous materials handling
  • Support change management and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate emergency response planning and procedures
  • Develop and implement EHS procedures, policies, and work instructions
  • Manage safety training programs:
  • Assign and deliver required training
  • Track and ensure timely completion of training
  • Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and manage EHS‑related vendors
  • Take on additional EHS responsibilities based on experience and business needs
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a technical degree (Chemistry, Biology, Engineering) with relevant EHS experience
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and EHS compliance standards
  • Strong initiative with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills
  • Comfortable delivering safety training to large groups
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
