Key Stage 1 Supply Teacher – North Yorkshire

Academics is currently recruiting a reliable and adaptable Key Stage 1 Supply Teacher to support our partner primary schools across Skipton.

This role is ideal for a teacher with a strong understanding of KS1 (Reception, Year 1 and Year
2) who is confident stepping into different school settings with a good understanding of how Supply works.

The successful candidate will:

• Have experience teaching across Key Stage 1
• Be confident delivering pre‑planned lessons and maintaining classroom routines
• Demonstrate strong behaviour management and a calm, engaging approach
• Be flexible, professional and reliable for short‑term, long‑term or emergency cover
• Adapt quickly to different school environments and expectations

Academics works closely with a wide range of Bradford primary schools, offering regular and flexible supply opportunities.

• Competitive daily rates, dependent on experience and role (£140‑£170 per day)
• Opportunities for day‑to‑day, short‑term and long‑term placements
• Paid weekly via Academics
• Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant
