We are recruiting for Class 2 LGV C Drivers at our Skelmersdale Depot within the Mller Milk and Ingredients Distribution Business
. This is a great opportunity for drivers who enjoy working for a prestigious logistics company, driving a modern and well‑maintained fleet of vehicles. We offer full‑time work schedules and no overnight stays.

Successful candidates will be offered the opportunity to upskill to Class 1 through our in‑house driver training academy after 13 weeks.

Shift Pattern
: PM shifts starting at 1800 (including weekends)

• Day (Mon‑Fri): £15.83 per hour
• Day (Saturday): £17.80 per hour
• Day (Sunday): £23.75 per hour
• Night (Mon‑Fri, 6pm‑4am): £18.09 per hour
• Night (Saturday, 6pm‑4am): £20.06 per hour
• Night (Sunday, 6pm‑4am): £26.01 per hour
• Overtime: £17.80 per hour

• Transport milk from farms to various sites within the network, including loading and reloading.
• Ensure timely deliveries, accurate documentation, and compliance with safety and transportation regulations.
• Prioritise safety and respect all road users.
• Conduct thorough driver and vehicle checks.
• Plan routes accounting for safety restrictions, planned road works, and traffic.
• Act professionally as the interface between the business and customers.

• HGV Class 2 Licence (LGV Cat
  
  C).
• Current CPC and digital driving card.
• No more than 6 minor points on licence (no CDs, DDs, DRs or INs).
• Minimum of 12 months experience.
• Comfortable with physical aspects of role (loading/unloading trolleys).
• Effective team member, works well independently, displays excellent attitude.
• Self‑motivated, positive, extremely reliable.
