We are recruiting a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to work in a supportive primary school in Skelmersdale. This role is ideal for graduates considering a career in teaching, psychology, or education, offering valuable classroom and SEN experience.
You will support pupils across the classroom, working 1 : 1 or in small groups, and assisting the class teacher with day-to-day learning.
Key Responsibilities- Support pupils' learning on a 1 : 1 and small-group basis
- Assist with lesson delivery and classroom activities
- Support pupils with additional needs where required
- Promote positive behaviour and engagement
- Work closely with teachers and SEN staff
- Degree in any subject (Psychology, Education, or related fields desirable)
- Passion for working with children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, proactive, and adaptable approach
- Commitment to safeguarding
