Sporadic Teacher Cover – SEN & Mainstream Provisions

We are recruiting teachers to provide sporadic cover across SEN and mainstream provisions in Skelmersdale and Ormskirk. This role is ideal for teachers seeking flexibility or a gradual return to classroom teaching.

The majority of cover will be within GLD classes, where class sizes are smaller and additional support is in place.

• Deliver pre‑planned lessons in SEN and mainstream settings
• Work within smaller class environments, often alongside support staff
• Maintain a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet a range of learning needs

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
• Experience in SEN is not essential – training and support will be provided
• A calm, flexible, and inclusive teaching approach
• Confidence managing smaller classes with additional needs
