Head Registered Veterinary Nurse (Maternity Cover) - Join Our Dedicated Team!

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our team on a maternity cover basis. This role arises as our lovely Senior RVN goes off to expand her family.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take on a Head RVN role in a busy, first-opinion GP surgery. Ideally, you will enjoy clinical coaching, supporting student nurses, and have a passion for animal care. You will be working alongside our fantastic team of Nurses, Vets, and VCAs, ensuring the highest standards of care for our patients.

Our practice is well-equipped with modern facilities, including:

• An in-house lab
• Cattery and isolation space
• Prep room
• Theatre
• Recovery room

We have advanced equipment, including a multiparameter monitor, top-notch ultrasound, digital x-ray, and more—with exciting new additions on the way! We are proud to be an ISFM Silver Accredited Cat Friendly practice, and there are no out-of-hours (OOHs) duties with this position.

We have a highly experienced and collaborative team, including exceptional Surgery & Imaging Vets, and a fantastic group of RVNs and VCAs. Our practice culture is one of support, growth, and teamwork, where every member plays a crucial role in providing outstanding care.

We are based in a picturesque countryside town, just a 10-minute drive from Sittingbourne, with excellent motorway links, including easy access to the M2. This location offers the perfect balance of peaceful rural life with convenient transport connections.

This is a full-time position
, working 40 hours per week over four days. The role includes a share of weekend shifts on a fixed-term maternity cover contract.
