Sealing & Packing Team Leader – CCK

Position: Sealing & Packing Team Leader Location: Sittingbourne – COOK Pastry & Pies

Hours: Monday to Friday 2pm to 10pm

Salary: £29,494.40 per year (yes this includes paid breaks)

Sealing & Packing Team Leader, you’ll be the driving force behind the final step of our production process. From sealing to sleeving to boxing, you’ll make sure every product leaves our doors in perfect condition. Leading a dedicated team, you’ll combine attention to detail with efficiency to guarantee our customers receive nothing less than excellence.

• Product Quality & Accuracy: Oversee sealing, sleeving, and boxing processes to meet accuracy, speed, and presentation standards.
• Verify that all products are correctly frozen, and ensure x-ray machines and metal detectors are appropriately set.
• Compliance & Record Keeping: Confirm that all products meet target weights (a legal obligation) and ensure corresponding paperwork is completed accurately and legibly.
• Manage and maintain freezer operations, ensuring blast freezers are defrosted as required.
• Process Verification: Ensure labels and sleeves are correct before sleeving and that all packaging aligns with product specifications.
• Leadership & Team Management: Lead and support the sealing and packing team to achieve daily targets while fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
