Personal Assistant – 8 hours per week – Swale area – Sittingbourne – ME10 (Reference: NN1174393)
OverviewThe role is to support a 38‑year‑old individual with autism, learning difficulties and medication‑controlled epilepsy in daily living activities. The assistant will help implement the support plan developed with a care manager and the individual's main carer.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with meal planning and preparation.
- Help with grocery shopping and household errands.
- Support completion of housework and personal care tasks.
- Encourage adherence to the support plan and promote a healthy, active lifestyle.
- Provide emotional support, listen to concerns, and reassure the individual.
- Communicate regularly with the main carer (sister) to coordinate care and updates.
Applicants must be proactive, reliable, enthusiastic and friendly. The position will require a DBS check and satisfactory references.
BenefitsPermanent post with contracted hours. Includes annual leave entitlement, pension contributions, and a salary paid every four weeks.
