Requirements:
Current RN license.
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in LTC or skilled nursing.
Experience in teaching, mentoring, or clinical education preferred.
BLS required; additional certifications (ACLS, PALS) as appropriate.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs and training for nursing staff.
Conduct orientation and ongoing competency assessments for new and existing staff.
Mentor and coach nursing personnel to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Collaborate with leadership to identify educational needs and improve patient outcomes.
Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Serve as a clinical resource for staff on complex patient care issues.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff performance evaluations.
