Provide high‑quality care to assisted‑living home residents in a warm, supportive, and caring manner. The role includes clinical and medication administration, clinical support to care teams, and focus on quality resident care, growth, development, and empowerment of health‑care teams, and promotion of assisted‑living philosophy and statutes.

You will be surrounded by elder residents with many years of life experiences and wisdom who are in varying stages of their life journey.

The job is located in the Sitka Pioneer Home, an assisted‑living home at 120 Katlian Street, Sitka, Alaska. The campus is waterfront with rose hedges and scenic views.

• Knowledge of diagnosis and treatment of injuries, diseases, and deformities, including preventive health‑care measures.

Eligibility for licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alaska; AND EITHER

• Successful completion of a formal training plan as a Nurse I with the State of Alaska; OR
• One year of entry‑level experience as a Registered Nurse, including but not limited to prior service as a Nurse I, Corrections Nurse I, or Psychiatric Nurse I with the State of Alaska or its equivalent.

Substitution – combinations of prior training and experience in other specializations of nursing care will be evaluated for comparability on a case‑by‑case basis.

Applicants not currently licensed may apply under the conditional job offer option. Background investigation and tuberculosis testing may be required.
