Job Summary

Answer the call to emergency care with purpose in Sitka, Alaska. As a Registered Nurse in the ER, you’ll be at the forefront of life‑saving interventions, rapid triage, and compassionate care for patients presenting with traumatic injuries, chest pain, stroke symptoms, and complex medical emergencies.

Beginning February 23, 2026, for a weeks‑long assignment, you’ll join a patient‑centered team that values speed, accuracy, and teamwork. You’ll have a guaranteed 36 hours per week and a competitive weekly pay between $3,172 and $3,261, providing stability as you apply your expertise in a high‑energy, high‑stakes environment. This role is ideal for seasoned ER nurses who want to make a measurable difference while expanding their clinical skills and leadership capabilities.

In this ER role, you’ll perform rapid assessments, stabilize patients, initiate life‑saving interventions, and collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, nurses, and social work teams. You’ll triage, monitor, and reassess, ensuring careful documentation and adherence to best practices in trauma and critical care.
