Warehouse Lead - 3rd Shift

Overview

Shift: 6:00pm - 2:30am (Monday - Friday)

Oversees and provides guidance to the warehouse crew under the direction of the warehouse manager/supervisor, maintains warehouse work areas, assists with shipping and receiving functions in a timely manner, observing all safety regulations and ensuring all quality standards are met while maintaining the efficient flow of product through the production process. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duties assigned to best serve the company.

• Oversees and provides guidance to the warehouse crew under the direction of the warehouse manager/supervisor.
• Maintains warehouse work areas; assists with shipping and receiving functions in a timely manner.
• Observes all safety regulations and ensures quality standards are met while maintaining the efficient flow of product through the production process.
• Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duties assigned to best serve the company.
• Follows all preferred work methods, safety policies and procedures per company guidelines. Ensures work area is safe and reports any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately.
• Obtains work schedule and daily production paperwork and prepares for operations. Puts on all required Personal Protective Equipment and safety gear. Performs daily safety check of the assigned forklift/pallet jack in accordance with company policy.
• Meets required productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines. Assists warehouse crew with duties in emergency and non-emergency situations.
• Performs damage control checks on items received and contacts supervisor about removing items according to company policy.
• Performs selection, shipping, receiving, forklift put-away/replenishment, returns, auditing and/or other warehouse duties per business need.
• Provides oversight, direction and input on work performed by associates in the assigned area.
• Performs general housekeeping duties and keeps warehouse area, loading dock and trailers clear and clean as required.
• Removes batteries requiring recharging, replaces with charged batteries and completes vehicle inspection checklist.
• At the end of the shift, secures all equipment and completes all necessary paperwork.
• Provides backup support to warehouse management.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
