Position Summary

We are interviewing for a qualified Class A Delivery Driver who is highly detailed and enjoys the satisfaction of a job done right. An ideal candidate is a reliable, dependable team player with experience doing route deliveries.

Branch:
Tri-State Flooring

Work Schedule: Must be available for a 5am start time. Regional OTR, Three/Four day run across SD/MN. The work schedule will be discussed further at the interview stage.

Target Total Comp: Mileage + Stop Pay.

This Position is Forecast to Earn Over 90K.

• Loading and unloading merchandise with lift gates, forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Verify loads for accuracy.
• Deliver merchandise to the destination safely and on schedule.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections.
• Provide excellent customer service to our customers during deliveries.
• Obey and follow applicable traffic laws.
• Maintain ELOG and comply with all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Report defects, accidents, and violations.
• Communicate and coordinate with dispatch on deliveries.
• Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent degree.
• Knowledge of Customer Service Fundamentals, Over the Road (OTR) Transportation Routing, OSHA, and DOT.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Commercial Transportation with CDL.

Other Qualifications

• Must have a CDL Class A and pass DOT-required physical and related drug tests.
• Able to pass additional pre-employment screening required by the company.
• Experience driving a forklift is a plus.
• Manual certification is a plus.
• Experience in the flooring industry is a plus.
• Legally permitted to work in the United States.
