Department: Ace Ready Mix

Reports to: Ace General Manager

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday with some Saturdays

Job Summary:

We are a growing company with a large fleet. We are seeking hard-working, dependable drivers to join our Ace Ready Mix team. Our drivers deliver concrete to our customers locally.

Location:

Sioux Falls, SD

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and drive mixer trucks with gross vehicle weight (GVW) over 72,000 pounds.
• Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs.
• Perform regular inspections and necessary vehicle maintenance (oil, fuel, tire pressure, etc.).
• Follow delivery schedules.
• Possess and maintain a valid Class B driver’s license.
• Pass a background check, drug screen, and driving record check.
• Maintain a regular, dependable attendance record.
• Be able to work variable hours which may include overtime. Weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit and drive for long durations.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
• Ability to tolerate working outdoors in all environmental temperatures and weather conditions.
• Ability to walk on uneven surfaces.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
