Motorcycle and Powersports Service Technician. Vern Eide Motoplex and Powerhouse is a dynamic and thriving automotive and powersports dealership committed to providing an exceptional customer experience. We are currently hiring a Motorcycle and Powersports Service Technician. We seek a skilled and motivated service technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of motorcycles and powersports. If you are a self-starter who welcomes the opportunity to work in a challenging and financially rewarding environment, we want to meet you!
The service technician is responsible for providing quality repairs and services for all incoming units. You must use product knowledge and mechanical experience to ensure all service and repair needs are met. You will be responsible for completing both customer machine service and internal work, such as setting up incoming machines and installing accessories. Pay starts at $15/hour plus $5 flat rate per labor hour.
Hours are Tuesday through Friday, 9 am – 6 pm, and Saturday, 9 am – 5 pm.

- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire replacements, and brake servicing.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in motorcycles.
- Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Assemble, disassemble, and rebuild engines and other components.
- Conduct safety inspections and provide recommendations to customers.
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Provide excellent customer service, explaining repairs and offering advice on maintenance.
- Thoroughly communicate and work closely with all departments.
- Follow set processes and procedures.
- Motorcycle / Powersports or auto repair experience or education/training.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions carefully.
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and detail-oriented.
- A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.
- Must have own tools.
- ASE and manufacturer certification are desired, but not necessary.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a motorcycle endorsement.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check, and have a clean driving record.
