The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

The job description for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic will include some aspects of an Equipment Operator because you must understand how to operate the machinery you service, repair and/or maintain. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Excavators
• Dozers
• Loaders
• Scrapers
• Small Motors
• Trucks

Our Heavy Equipment Mechanics perform diagnostic tests, routine maintenance and large-scale repair procedures on our entire fleet of heavy equipment. Having experience with the following is helpful:

• Diesel engine & transmission repair
• Welding, cutting and braising
• Hydraulic systems
• Electrical diagnostics
• Air-conditioning
• Drive train repair & lubrication
• Preventive maintenance

Minimum Basic Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 5 years heavy equipment repair experience (recent/current)
• Some schedule flexibility needed; occasional nights and/or weekends.
• Must be a safety minded self-motivated/self-starter.
• Must be physically capable of performing the duties
