We're hiring a Mobile Trailer Service Technician who thrives on solving new challenges every day!
Essential Duties- Perform light mechanical work and routine maintenance on trucks and trailers.
- Check batteries and change oil to ensure the proper functioning of vehicles.
- Wash and clean the interior and exterior of trucks and trailers.
- Inspect brake systems, wheel bearings, and steering mechanisms of trucks.
- Assist with refurbishing trucks and trailers.
- Repair, update, and restore interior and exterior mobile medical imaging unit finishes.
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical devices according to company guidelines.
- Provide training to customers on the proper use and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical support via phone, email, or in person.
- Test equipment functionality and perform preventative maintenance as scheduled.
- Deliver and retrieve trucks–trailers from customer and service locations.
- Secure medical imaging equipment appropriately prior to transport of medical units.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in carpentry, truck, trailer maintenance.
- Understanding of trailer mechanical systems, electrical systems, and structural components.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- CDL Class A (or obtains license within 90 days of employment).
- A pleasant and professional demeanor.
- Proven experience with effectively managing multiple priorities while maintaining composure under deadline pressure.
- The ability to use time and resources efficiently and effectively.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel as the business needs demand.
