Tran Source Truck & Equipment, Inc. is a growing company representing Mack Trucks and Volvo Construction Equipment, along with serving as a dealer for multiple other product lines that support the On Highway, Construction and Agriculture industries. Due to growth, we are currently hiring a Heavy Duty Truck Sales Representative. The ideal candidate should have truck and/or equipment sales experience and a knowledge of the truck industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Generating and increasing sales of heavy duty trucks, including used, refurbished, and new trucks within their defined area of responsibility.
  • Providing a high‑quality level of service to both outside customers and internal departments.
  • Participating in trade shows and conventions while working in conjunction with other sales staff and our marketing team.
  • Attaining the sales and gross profit objectives set by their manager.
  • Calling on prospective customers and assigned accounts within the assigned territory.
  • Explaining features and demonstrating operation of vehicles in the showroom or on the road.
  • Computing and quoting sales price, including tax, trade‑in allowance, and financing requirements.
  • Preparing sales orders and sales contracts.
  • Arranging for delivery and completing all warranty registrations for vehicles.
  • Maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Identifying and developing new opportunities for all Tran Source product lines.
  • Continuously learning more about the industry, the company, and the products Tran Source sells.
  • Completing assigned training in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining a professional appearance.
Requirements:
  • Committed to 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Solid experience in call control, account development, time and territory management.
  • Strong aptitude for sales.
  • Preferred prior sales experience in the trucking or construction industry.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs.
  • Strong customer‑expectation management.
  • Excellent computer skills and familiarity with all Microsoft Office products; efficient use of Outlook.
  • Insurable driving record and ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
  • Valid driver’s license.
