The primary responsibility of a Stock Team Member is to assist with freight flow process, backroom organization, sales floor replenishment, and price changes. This position requires a high level of organization and a sense of urgency.

• Assist in the receipt of all merchandise in a safe, timely and efficient manner
• Maintain an efficient and organized stockroom
• Assemble product, execute markdowns and replenish the sales floor
• Support driving profitable sales, protecting company assets and uphold the Company Handbook during shifts
• Take personal accountability for individual performance
• Treat co‑workers and customers with respect and professionalism; adhere to the dress code to support company branding
• Maintain high commitment and demonstrate support for company initiatives
• Initiate actions during every shift to ensure shipments are processed effectively and timely
• Report to work with a professional, positive, can‑do attitude at all times
• Demonstrate commitment to Kirkland’s Home Vision and Values that support the Be GREAT Selling Model

• No experience necessary; stock experience preferred
• Energetic, results‑oriented, and competitive with a drive to succeed
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings
• Ability to read and interpret company directives, Handbook and Manuals
• Ability to work a schedule that meets the business needs of the store (often early mornings and off hours)
• Ability to lift and move 50 pounds or more on a regular basis
• Ability to climb ladders
• Ability to lift and move bulky merchandise on a regular basis
• Ability to stoop, bend, climb and lift to stock and retrieve merchandise from the stockroom and sales floor on a regular basis
