Pay Range: $50,000 - $100,000 annually (commission)

Job Description:

The Mattress Specialist is the sleep expert in charge of assisting customers who are looking for a mattress. If other sales associates need assistance with their bedding customers, they go to the Mattress Specialist for help and guidance.

• Educate the customer about the healthy advantages of a good night’s sleep by effectively explaining the features and benefits of each individual product
• Help customers discover their comfort to ensure proper mattress selection
• Provide excellent customer service and knowledge of our mattress/bedding products
• Make a thorough product presentation
• Utilize our proven sales process to discover each client’s unique desires.
• Maintain a strong knowledge of showroom layout.
• Listen intently to each client’s specific desires and make educated suggestions based on the information given.
• Build professional relationships with clients.
• Proactively and effectively communicate product features and benefits, as well as promotional information.
• Provide timely, relevant follow-up.
• Demonstrate a tenacious drive for results and be accountable for becoming a trusted, successful “Sales Professional/Design Associate.”

• Experience in a retail sales environment with increasing levels of responsibility and strong working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures
• Demonstrated ability to effectively lead/direct, coach and train others, and the ability to relate well using communication, interpersonal, diplomacy and related skills
• Flexibility to work a retail schedule which will include evenings, weekends and holidays
• Computer proficiency including MS Office products
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
