• The Server is responsible for duties including interacting with customers, setting up and maintaining a clean and sanitized serving area, preparing and serving food items, restocking food areas, cleaning and sanitizing equipment, and receiving payment for food and beverages using a computerized register.
• Provides outstanding customer service and effectively communicates with patrons and co-workers. Demonstrates ability to establish effective working relationships.
• Maintains quality control standards. May operate equipment such as beverage machines, toasters, ice cream dispensers, cash registers (including computerized systems), steam equipment, dishwashers, refrigerators and freezers.
• Follows established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders. Accounts for credit card and cash transactions. Serves catered parties.
• Follows established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery and general service techniques. Practices tray service for all food and beverage service.
• Possesses the ability to work independently when necessary. Understands food safety and sanitation processes. Able to be on feet for the majority of the day and walk long distances. Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required. Must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Minimum of 18 years of age. Two years of serving experience and/or training preferred.
• Depending upon location of hire, Serv Safe may be required to obtain within a designated time frame.
