Sanford Health’s Cancer Center Building in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a full‑time RN to coordinate ambulatory patient care. The role includes patient assessment, education, triage, and various interventions, with occasional emergent care requirements and travel to outreach clinics.

Responsible for the coordination of care, patient assessment, patient education, triage, and various other interventions in an ambulatory setting. Requires excellent time‑management skills and the ability to prioritize and triage patient needs. Occasionally works in emergent patient care situations requiring critical thinking and prompt assessment skills. Performs age‑related patient assessment and interventions, schedules tests and interventions per provider order, and utilizes the professional nursing process to provide individualized care to female patients 18+.

• Coordinate patient care, including assessment, education, and triage.
• Perform age‑related patient assessment and interventions.
• Schedule tests and interventions per provider order.
• Utilize the professional nursing process in ambulatory and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with providers during surgical and non‑surgical procedures.
• Assist in supporting outreach clinics, including required travel by plane.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (AACN, ACEN, NLN CNEA);
  Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Current, unencumbered RN license with State Board of Nursing; multistate licensure accepted if in an RNLC state.
• Must obtain and maintain department‑specific licensure, competencies, and certifications.
• Working knowledge of electronic medical records.
