Position in Cardiology & Cardiac Specialty Unit with 12-hour night shifts. 36 hours per week; full-time schedule; location:
Sioux Falls, SD.

This role supports a 41-bed medical telemetry unit and a 12-bed acuity-ad adaptable critical care unit, focusing on cardiac care including telemetry monitoring, chest pain, heart failure, arrhythmias, electrophysiology studies, and pacemaker/implant care. New graduates and experienced RNs are welcome to apply.

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Work independently and within a team to ensure high-quality patient care; collaborate with Education and other departments to apply evidence-based practices.
• Monitor patients on telemetry and manage care for cardiology and medical telemetry populations, including pre/post care for cardiac procedures as applicable.
• Support higher-acuity care needs in the acuity-adaptable unit, including handling advanced equipment and medications as required.
• Demonstrate adaptability, strong communication, attention to detail, and effective time management; participate in ongoing learning and professional development.
• Engage in orientation and residency programs as available to support career growth and skill development.

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (AACN, ACEN, NLN CNEA) required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current, unencumbered RN license in the practicing state or multistate licensure if in an NLC state; maintain department-specific competencies and certifications.
• Willingness to participate in required training and certifications as determined by the department.
