As a member of the team, you will have an opportunity to assist in the improvement of our productivity, help make our mechanical systems more efficient, troubleshoot various issues with equipment, repair mechanical parts and maintain the system for maximum output. This position is within a fast-pace industrial setting, where every day is unique and interesting. Your focus on the following all safety guidelines, maintenance schedules, manufacturer’s recommendations and other best practices will help you find a high level of success in this role.

• Follow and support all company safety, GMP, and HACCP policies.
• Follow and support all company ISO, QMS, and QSI policies.
• Performs preventative maintenance on production equipment in a timely manner.
• Performs monthly facility inspections per schedule.
• Attends monthly safety meetings and follows all company safety policies and procedures.
• Clean and change out all air filters in the plant.
• Assist in major projects.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned.

• Associates degree in electrical/electronic or equivalent work experience
• Two or more years of experience in an industrial maintenance field
• Knowledge and skilled in troubleshooting of electrical/electronic systems
• Knowledge and skilled in using all hand tools
• Knowledge and skilled in basic use of a computer
• Knowledge and skilled in the operation of a forklift
• Ability to organize and prioritize your work activities and multitask multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to make practical decisions without appreciable direction or advance
