As a secondary maintenance employee at Hart2
Hart, Inc., your responsibility will be to support the primary maintenance employee in the overall cleanliness and operational efficiency of the restaurant. You will work closely with the management team and other staff members to ensure a safe and enjoyable dining experience for our customers.
A maintenance employee at Hart2
Hart, Inc. starts at $16.00/hr.
- Facility Maintenance which includes cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the restaurant, including dining areas, restrooms, and kitchen. Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Emptying trash and recycling bins and disposing of waste properly. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of storage areas.
- Equipment Maintenance which includes conducting routine inspections of kitchen equipment, such as fryers, grills, and ovens. Performing basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure proper functionality. Notifying the management team of any equipment malfunctions or issues that need repair.
- General Repairs which include minor repairs and maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, fixing leaks, or repairing broken fixtures. Report major maintenance issues to the management team for professional repairs.
- Safety and compliance which includes following all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a hazard‑free environment. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and adherence to food safety standards.
- Teamwork and communication which includes collaborating with other team members to assist in their tasks as needed. Communicating effectively with the management team and coworkers to address maintenance‑related concerns or issues.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to utilize step stools and ladders.
- Ability to move boxes up to 70lbs.
- Ability to communicate information so others will understand.
- Must be able to stand, walk, climb, bend, lift.
- Ability to observe the work environment.
- Exposure to high and low temperatures.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Permitted to work in the U.S.
- Available mornings, nights, weekends, and Holidays.
- Available a minimum of 25hrs/week.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Related experience preferred but not required.
