COBOL Developer
Responsibilities:
Acts in the highest level technical role as an individual contributor and/or team lead for complex computer applications and/or initiatives. Utilizes a thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs. Works on complex problems where analysis requires evaluation of intangible variance factors. Plans, performs, and acts as the escalation point for complex platform designs, coding, and testing. Leads complex multiple modeling, simulations, and analysis efforts.
Acts as expert technical resource to programming staff in program development, testing, and implementation.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of application development and implementation experience.
- Experience with COBOL, Batch and CICS, VSAM, JCL/PROC, SAS, Endevor, TSO, IBM File Manager, IBM Debug Tool, IBM Fault Analyzer, and Standard Mainframe Utilities.
The ideal candidate must be willing to work from the preferred location in Sioux Falls, SD.
