Overview

Working as a Behavior Technician with children with Autism will provide all of this and more.
Responsibilities- Work 1:1 with clients in the home, school, center, and community settings
- Deliver ABA therapy by setting up the session, preparing materials, and reviewing previous notes and graphs
- Familiarize yourself with the treatment program, schedule, and goals prior to each client’s session
- Conduct teaching and intervention according to training and client-specific intervention plans
- Complete the session by updating parents/caregivers and writing a session note
- Consistently implement treatment plans with fidelity (under BCBA direction) and prepare program materials
- Handle a range of domains including toilet training, communication, social, and adaptive living skills
- Collect and maintain accurate data and clinical notes using data collection software
- Review and implement consultation/supervision note recommendations
- Participate in ongoing training, evaluations, and meetings as required
- Assist with parent training and clinical assessments as needed
- Communicate effectively with the BCBA regarding learner progress and with colleagues and families as needed
- Track supervision hours and renew the RBT certification as mandated
- Work ethically and with integrity while following the BACB Ethical Code
- Adhere to HIPAA policies and Possibilities policies and procedures
- Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality to provide quality care
- Possibilities ABA provides training to be successful in this position, including earning your Registered Behavior Technician certification
- After school (3-7pm)
- Day shift (9-3pm)
- Monday to Friday
- Part-time or Full-time Available
Client’s homes, community locations, and treatment center
Compensation- Starting Pay: $14–$16 per hour, depending on qualifications (e.g., prior RBT certification that has lapsed), until RBT certification or recertification is obtained
- Certified Pay: $18–$25 per hour, depending on experience, after obtaining or renewing RBT certification
- Paid time off (part-time and full-time)
- Gas stipends for travel
- Monday to Friday, No weekends
- Flexible Schedule
- Insurance options available (full-time)
- Active RBT certification required, or willingness to obtain and maintain certification
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Relevant college degree and coursework is preferred
- Experience working with children and individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder is preferred
- Commitment to become certified and maintain the certification as an RBT
- Availability to work a minimum of 12 hours weekly, with some schedule flexibility
- Reliable transportation to and from work location; clean driving record and proof of automobile insurance
