** Position Highlights

* Position Summary:

** Responsible to provide quality cardiac and peripheral vascular ultrasound scans as directed by the physician.
*
* Work Schedule:

** Monday through Friday.  Rotation of call days/weekends/holidays is required.
** Work Environment:
** May be required to deal with unpleasant environmental situations resulting from patient care or patient activity.
** Education/

Experience:

** Must have an Associate of Science degree in cardiovascular ultrasound technology, or a certificate of successful completion from a school of cardiac ultrasound.  2-3 years of previous ultrasound experience preferred. Must have working knowledge of cardiac and vascular pathology.
** Licensure/Certification:
** Must be registered in at least one modality, Cardiac or Vascular Technologist. Must be registered in both modalities within one year from being cross-trained in both echo and vascular exams, and able to take call independently. Maintain required CME’s.
