Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with bankers, realtors, builders, and the community to attract new business.
  • Manage customer interactions for seamless transactions, ensuring the highest level of service throughout the mortgage journey.
  • Counsel borrowers on pros and cons of different loan products to determine the best fit.
  • Ensure all origination activities comply fully with state and federal lending laws.
  • Understand company loan policies, guidelines, and all federal and state regulations.
  • Maintain an active MLO license with the NMLS and state; follow all SAFE Act requirements.
  • Exhibit excellent customer/interpersonal service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Work in a time‑sensitive environment to meet strict deadlines.
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED.
Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of self‑generating mortgage lending experience.
